ADVANCED two-week programme:
The main EU policies at a glance

The Advanced two-week programme is targeted at professionals who already have a substantial knowledge on EU affairs.

First day
The first day of the course offers an analytical review of the decision-making process and the EU's institutional set-up.

As of the second day
Participants will share classes with the participants of the Classic three-week programme since, from this day onwards, both programmes focus on selected internal and external EU policies and key reform initiatives.

A system of parallel elective sessions will allow participants to shape their own programme by choosing courses in accordance with their background, interests and professional needs.

During hands-on modules and workshops, participants will be able to practice EU negotiation and lobbying techniques and enhance their professional skills. A keynote speech, a panel discussion and other didactic and social activities are equally offered to complement the programme.

For more details, you can download the 2019 programme here. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us. Please note that this course can be tailor made on demand for specific groups.
The College of Europe reserves the right to revise the structure until further notice.

What former participants say:

"Learning about Europe inside the heart of Europe with the plus of the outside perspective of the participants from all over the world. Having a European Law background this seminar gave me the opportunity to complement my general knowledge about the EU in all its facets and working areas and in regard of the recent evolutions. I will remember all the nice talks and productive discussions I have had in the lovely Bruges."
