The participants – among the seminar’s biggest assets
Each year the Intensive Seminar attracts highly motivated professionals
from
around 30 countries worldwide with diverse backgrounds but one common interest: EU affairs. Among them are civil servants of national administrations and EU institutions, public affairs practitioners, managers from private companies, representatives from NGOs and associations, lawyers and academics.
This diverse group of participants represents one of the seminar’s most valuable assets bringing to the discussion very different perspectives, expectations and experiences of the EU.
All participants have a relevant academic and professional background, a good command of English and several years of experience in their respective
fields.
The trainers – EU specialists providing practice-oriented and insider views
Our experienced trainers are practitioners and professors from the College of Europe’s international network of experts in European affairs. Several sessions are delivered by EU officials who are able to provide an additional
unique ‘insider’ perspective of the issues discussed.
Full information about the trainers will be communicated to participants on the seminar
SharePoint at the start of the programme.
What former participants say:
"Two weeks packed with classes on
hot topics like common foreign and security policy,
migration and EU competition law in the venue of the
College of Europe in lovely Bruges together with nice
colleagues from all over Europe and China: lasting
memories are granted! I can only recommend this
experience to people interested in European affairs."
